T is for Teacher

My Cricut Craft Room

It's the end of the school year and time to give those thank you cards to your kid's teachers. Today I have a super cute card for My Cricut Craft Room using American Craft paper and the Happily Ever After Cartridge.

This is Snow White's Apple, and I though it was cute for a Teacher Card. I cut it out at 3.5". The sentiment is printed from my computer. For more projects like this one please visit http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com/

June 100 Cartridge Blog Hop

Welcome to Erica's Craft Room

100 Cricut Cartridge Blog Hop

You should have started at  http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com/ if not please start at the beginning. We have loads of cute projects for you today!

Today my project is a layout for my Goddaughters scrapbook.  This will be the very first page of her book. Used Songbird for the font, because I love the semi-cursive font. Then I used Storybook for the large center medallion. I find that it's my go to cart for these types of shapes. I cut the stars from Doodletype because I like that they are not the perfectly symmetrical ones.  I used Best Creations glittered cardstock, which is one of my favs because it doesn't shed.

It's Design Team Tuesday with Shabby Chic Stamp Co. Today I have a simple card made with the Father's Day set. Isnt' this cute?
I do like this set, although it's a bit early to think about Father's Day Cards. I'm still trying to get to Mother's Day!

Happy Crafting.

The Letter of the Day

Today at My Cricut Craft Room the letter of the day is S. So I made this seascape centerpiece using Life's a Beach.

My goddaugher is having her first birthday in a few weeks, and the theme is Under the Sea. I think this will go perfectly.
To see more projects that begin with S please visit My Cricut Craft Room.

100 Cricut Cartridge Blog Hop

You should have started at  http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com/ if not please start at the beginning. We have loads of cute projects for you today!

My project today is a thank you card using Preserves, Sentimentals, and Just Because Cards.

I used paper from the DCWV Nanna's Nursery stack for this one. The watermelon is cut at 2.5" from Preserves and it takes a while because it has 4 layers. The tag from Sentimentals. I made the white tag inset by cutting the tag 1/2 smallers and then using scissors to trim off one end. The phrase is from Just Because Cards.

WYEGW with My Cricut Craft Room

My Cricut Craft Room

It's WYEGW on My Cricut Craft Room again and I have a project for you! Today I have a father's day card that I made using the rectangle feature on Base Camp and a tie from Paper Dolls Dress Up.

I saw an SVG card like this and though, I can do that with my Gypsy.
You can make this using any cartridge that has a rectangle on it. I would try to explain, but I think it would be easier to show you.

This is a screen shot from my Gypsy of the base (blue) part of my card.

This is the front (striped) part of the card.

This is the collar and tie. I pop-dotted the collar to give the shirt more dimension. All of these are the same rectangle. I just adjusted the size using my Gypsy and welded them together.

Design Team Tuesday with Shabby Chic Stamp Co.

I love the Build a Bouquet stamp set from Shabby Chic Stamp Co. It is so adorable. And it's perfect for paper piecing! Check out the cute card I made.

Isn't this cute? I used paper from the DCWV Nanna's Nursery stack. Paper Piecing is a great way to use up all your little scraps of paper. Just stamp onto your patterned paper and cut out. No coloring required.
