Oh Baby! Bag that is.

I know my blog has been very slow lately, but it's Summer and I'm so busy this time of year. Between work and fun I have no time to blog. (Notice I didn't say no time to craft!) Anyway, I've been crafting some useful stuff lately. We recently had a baby shower in the office for one of our Dad's-To-Be, and we got him this great masculine diaper bag and a bunch of goodies to go in it.

I didn't like any of the gift bags at the store so decided to decorate it with a clear bag and this baby banner. The banner says Baby Robert. I know it's hard to see all of the letters in the picture so here is the close up.

I used the banner flag from Tie the Knot to make this cute banner. I stamped it with the monogram letter stamps from Inkadinkado. Then I tied some ribbons to it and voila! Custom decorated gift.

My project is this framed Fairy Stamp. It's a digital stamp drawn by my good friend Karrie Ortiz, and I thought it was super cute and perfect for the hop.

 I made this little frame from paper to decorate my cubicle at work because it's light weight. The cubicle walls won't handle a heave frame. I cute out the frame with my Cricut  from Basic Grey Paper and colored the fairy with my Copic Markers. The blue background is stamped with one of my cats eye chalks.

It's Popsicle Time

Okay, so I have ice cream on the mind these days. It's summer, it's hot, which makes it the perfect time for ice cream. However if I ate it as much as I think about it I would gain 10 lbs, so instead I just keep creating it!

 This is the Popsicle from Doodlecharms. I made it into a car using my Gypsy. I made two versions of this card, and I think I like this second one better.

Way less calories than the real thing.

Yay for Ice Cream!

It's summer time, and one of the things I like about summer is ice cream. It reminds me of my childhood. I used to get ice cream cones at Thrifty's with my mom all the time! But now all it does is make me fat, so I try to avoid it! But that doesn't mean I can't make an ice cream card!

Lucky for me the Sweet Treats cart has some yummy and easy cards! Check out this one that I just whipped up.

Except for the strawberry this one looks like a Thrifty's Ice Cream! Yum.

One Enchanted Evening

Today's theme for My Cricut Craft Room is "On Fire". This reminded me of the candle lit dinner I had on the beach during my honeymoon in Jamaica. They put these candelabras out, candles in the sand and a white tent over the table. It was so romantic. When my hubby took pictures of it this one looked black and white, and I thought the effect was really cool so I made a layout to go with it.

I used 3 carts for this one. Teresa Collins Black and White Imagine cart to print the black and white paper strip, French Manor for the chandelier, and  Life's a Beach for the wave border. I think it came out really cute. I cut the little flames in the chandelier from silver glitter paper to keep with the "On Fire" theme. The letter X?

Monday's are letter of the day at My Cricut Craft Room, and today is the letter X. Hard one, huh? Yeah that's what I figured so I took it on. I make this Tic-Tac-Toe card because it has X's and O's.

To make this card I cut a 4x4 piece of the blue polka doted paper. Then I cut the X's and O from Base Camp at 1" (real dial size). I used orange twine to make the lines for the Tic-Tac-Toe board because I couldn't find a number sign that I liked. They are all slanted, so that wouldn't work. I cut the white square at 4.5x4.5" and the the striped paper at 2x5" and punched it with a Fiskar edge punch. I thought that Good Luck was the perfect sentiment for this one because it's a game and you want to win.

T is for Teacher

It's the end of the school year and time to give those thank you cards to your kid's teachers. Today I have a super cute card for My Cricut Craft Room using American Craft paper and the Happily Ever After Cartridge.
