I bought these battery powered candles last year at the after Christmas sale. I have to have the battery operated ones because I'm afraid cats will catch fire otherwise! The look pretty good all lit up.
I use a simple band of brown paper, and then cut some fall images with my Cricut

Love your candles!! You can switch out the bands for each season! I giggled when I read that you were worried that your cats would catch fire (as opposed to your house catching fire)!! I can picture a kitty with a tail on fire trying to stop, drop and roll (it is fire prevention month in my daycare).

What an awesome idea! I soooo wish I had thought of this when I had my parents 40th anniversary party last weekend. I used some of those battery powered candles at the party. Thanks so much for sharing your great idea with us... your fall theme candles look great!! :)
