Valentines Cards for Erica's Design Team
Today on Erica's Design Team the theme is Valentines. I made this Valentines Day Card using Sweethearts and Songbird. To see more Valentines themed projects head over to Erica's blog http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com/
I decided to go for something simple but effective. Sometimes I find that the simple cards are the most popular. The black placard at 3.5" and the word "love" at 3" are from Sweethearts. The "u" is from Songbird. The red paper is from Chatterbox's Artsylicious line. When I looked at this card I thought I might have made it too plain, so I punched it up with some clear rhinestones at the top. Happy Crafting

More Cute Stuff from CHA
I have pictures for you from CHA today. First lets star with Ranger! They have a new Iced Stickles that has larger chunks of glitter, and a larger bottle. See all the cute colors? The top row is liquid pearls.
And Tim Holts has new destressed markers from Ranger too! They are super cute. The one on the end is white and is really opaque. It will allow the colored markers to show up on black paper when you color over it.
New Ink Spray. These colors are super bright.
Loads of exciting stuff. I will have more for you later.

CHA!
Okay, today wast my first day at CHA and I didn't take that many pictures. I was just so busy! But I will try to take more. I did find one super fun thing in the new exhibitors section!
I love Action Wobbles, and I got a sample one that I hope to create with soon. And I saw Tim Holts, who seems to have products EVERYWHERE! I swear I saw his name in 10 different booths.

Inspired Stamps Love Card
Today's theme at Inspired Stamps is love. I don't really have any Valentines stamps from Inspired stamps, but I do have the Card Ministry Basic Set, which has some cute hearts on it.
All of the stamps inside of the heart came from this set. The set has a bunch of great sentiments, and some 1" circles on it that are fun for making cards. Happy Crafting.

Christmas Countdown with Erica's Design Team
Today's card is for Erica's Craft Room Christmas Countdown. The 25th of every month is for Christmas projects. To see more Christmas projects please visit Erica's blog.
Today I made a gift card holder using Hello Kitty Greetings and Simply Charmed. I actually saw this gift card holder on Ashley's blog, http://theglamoroussideofscrapping.blogspot.com/, but I didn't have the cart she used for the stocking. So I looked at my carts, and I found a cute stocking from Simply Charmed.
This whole thing is about 7" long. I used my Gypsy to weld together the base Hello Kitty shape and the stocking, which I cut out in black. Then I cut out my red stocking from Chatterbox flocked paper.
I also cut a flipped image of the stocking for the back side of the card. Then I added a piece of white cardstock so that I would have a place to write on it. The gift card slips in between the black and red.
Remember, it's never too early to get started on Christmas. Happy Crafting!

The strip of black and white rose print paper is from DCWV. The "sweet stamp" is from Inkadinkado.Be sure to check out all the cute stamps at Sweet Stamping Treats.

Sweet Stamping Treats Highlights Blog Hop
Hello, and welcome to Sweet Stamping Treats "Highlights" Blog Hop. This hop is all about highlighting some of our favorite stamps from Sweet Stamping Treats. If you arrived here from the Sweet Stamping Treats blog you are in the right place. This hop is full of great projects and prizes! Sweet Stamping Treats is giving away the entire January release to one lucky hopper who is a follower of Sweet Stamping Treats and comments on all of the blogs in the hop. Plus, there are some single stamps "hidden" in a few of the blogs along the way. For a chance to win one of the singles you must comment on their blogs and be a follower of their blogs too.
My project today is made with the Baby Elephant stamp:
I always need birthday cards, and this little guy is just so cute. I couldn't decide what color to make him so I colored him twice.
For this card I used green Coordinations Cardstock, pattern paper from DCWV, orange Divine Twine, and an arrow from 7 Gypsys. I think it came out pretty good.
Thanks for hopping along! Your next stop is Patty.

Inspired Stamps Scripture Card
This week's theme at Inspired stamps is Nature. So the first set I though of was Eye on the Sparrow. I know Ask, Seek, Knock is also good for that theme, but I love the little Sparrows that come with this set.
Isn't it cute? I think it's the eyes. I used double sided paper from Imaginisce and some green twine on this one. Happy Crafting!

Sweet Stamping Treats Dollar Digi Sale
The SST Dollar Digi Sale is back! This month's stamp is Hearts Circle. Super cute for Valentines!
I decided to use this one for a decoration. I made this rosette hanging decoration for my office. I plan to make a bunch more.
This is actually really easy. I used 2 strips of 2x12 paper and my glue gun. I scored the strips every 1/2" and then glued the ends together to make it long enough for this big rosette. Super easy. Get your stamp today and get started on those Valentines! Happy Crafting.

Use that Crop-a-dile (for Valentines Day)
Today for Erica's Design team the theme was use your Crop-a-dile. So I decided to make a card using mine, and the Rock Princess Cartridge. Please check out Erica's blog to see more creations with this theme.
I have to admit, I saw this idea somewhere on a blog, although read so many blogs I can't remember which one!
The background paper is from Making Memories Love Notes line. I chalked the edges of the paper with both pink and brown chalk.
The hear is cut at 3" and I used added rivets to it with my Crop-a-dile. Then used The Twinery's Pink Sorbet Twine to lace it up.
But it didn't show up well on the paper so I added this piece of black cardstock to the back of the card.
I used pop dots to adhere it so that the card would have some depth since I made it so simple.
I'm really happy with the way it turned out. Happy Crafting!

Valentine Cards for Kids with Cancer Blog Hop
Hi! Welcome to this very special Valentines hop. If you have arrived here from Doris's blog you are in the right place. If not please start from the beginning at http://decadesofscrap.blogspot.com. Today's hop is all about cards for kids. All of the cards you see in this hop will be sent to Jackson Memorial Holtz Children's Cancer Unit to give to the kids there for Valentines Day. Hopefully we can all put a smile on a child's face.
My project today is simple card I call Puppy Love:
I used patterned paper from Pinecone Press, and three cricut cartridges. The postage stamp cut in the brown and striped layers is from Base Camp. The puppy and kitty and the "puppy Love" title are from Paper Pups. The banner across the bottom of the card is from Happy Hauntings. And of course I had to add googly eyes, this is for a child after all.
And of course I have a little blog candy for you:
I'm giving away some embellishments. All you have to do is leave a comment and be a follower. Easy!
I hope you enjoyed my project. Your next stop is Leslie. Happy Crafting!

Halloween Layout
Hi all! Today is layout day at My Cricut Craft room. I just had to create this Halloween Layout because it's my favorite holiday. Please check out Erica's blog to see more great layouts today.
The background paper is from Heidi Grace and the purple and greed papers are from Pinecone press. The font for "Too Cute to Spook" is the Vampire font from Happy Hauntings.
The ghost is from Create a critter and I used a Peachy Keen Face stamp on him. I thought about blushing his cheeks, but hey, he is a ghost. I also used my Martha Stewart deep edge Halloween punch for the fence on the bottom. (First time using this punch and i LOVE it.)
I also used this cute little cat form Happy Hauntings. If you know anything about me, it's that I'm a cat person. I happen to have a cute, not so little black cat myself.
I hope you liked my project. Happy Crafting!

Love U Card with SST
This week's theme at Sweet Stamping Treats is "Love". So I just had to use their super cute Tweets Hearts Roses stamp.
Isn't this cute? Reminds me of strawberries for some reason. This paper came out of my scrap pile, so I have no idea where it's from, but I think I made some good use of scraps!

100 Cartridge Blog Hop
Welcome to the 100 Cartridge Blog Hop.
If you are joining me from Dana's Blog then you are in the right place. If you happened across my blog and would like to play along in our fun hop, you can go to My Cricut Craft Room at http://www.mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com and start at the beginning. There are many talented ladies in today's hop. This is a two day hop so be sure to come back tomorrow to see the second half of the blog line up. The idea of this blog hop is to show you how to use 100+ cartridges.
My project today is a layout in honor of Valentines day. For this layout I used Gypsy Font, Gypsy Wanderings, Jasmine, Storybook and Tie the Knot.
The large red medallion (or shield or tag, what ever you want to call it) is from Storybook. I used Imagnisce double sided paper, and the background pink paper is the other side of the paper.
The black flourishes on the medallion are from Tie the Knot. I really like how they follow the curve of the medallion.
The word "close" is from Gypsy Font. The heart is from Gypsy Wanderings. But I didn't like how the "to my" looked in Gypsy Font so I switched to Jasmine for that part. The cream colored paper from Chatterbox, and it has a light patter of glitter on it that you can sort of see in the photos. I used a Martha Stewart punch on the edge of the cream paper, and that little strip of cream is actually part of the left over from the punch. The plaid ribbon is from my local craft store.

Inspired Stamps Card
Today I have a new Inspired Stamps card for you. This stamp comes from the Eye on the Sparrow set.
It's a simple but powerful message, which is why I like it. I used Imaginisce pattern paper for this one, and I broke out my Fiskars Punch Anywhere for the first time. Happy Crafting!

Angel Eyes Layout
Today's project is for Erica's Craft Room Design Team. The theme is things that begin with A. For more project that begin with A please visit Erica's blog http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com/
My layout today is titled Angel Eyes. Please excuse the photography, I'm just having some technical difficulties, which I will get sorted out. Anyhow, I though I would show it to you.
It's meant for this photo of my goddaughter, which I just haven't had time to get printed. No, it's not upside down, it was actually taken from this angle.
All of the paper is from K& Company. For the title "Angel Eyes" (I'm sure you can see why I chose it) I use the Cursive 101 cart, and welded the letters with my Gypsy. The letters are cut out at 1.59".
The blue scalloped circle that is hiding behind the mat is from Storybook. I cut it out at 7.35".
The white matting is cute at 4.5"x6.6". The bling is from Prima's Say it in Crystals collection. Its a small piece of a much bigger swirl, I just cut it off to fit my layout.
All of the flowers are from Prima, I seem to have amassed a collection of them from a few years worth of warehouse sales. Lucky me, I live really close to their warehouse!
The pink strip of paper is cute at 3"x10" and I punched it with a Fiskars border punch. The Striped strip of paper is cut at 1.5"x 11". I only used my Cricut for a few elements in this layout, but I love the way it came out. Happy Crafting!
