Christmas Countdown with Erica's Design Team

Today's card is for Erica's Craft Room Christmas Countdown. The 25th of every month is for Christmas projects. To see more Christmas projects please visit Erica's blog.

Today I made a gift card holder using Hello Kitty Greetings and Simply Charmed. I actually saw this gift card holder on Ashley's blog,, but I didn't have the cart she used for the stocking. So I looked at my carts, and I found a cute stocking from Simply Charmed.

This whole thing is about 7" long. I used my Gypsy to weld together the base Hello Kitty shape and the stocking, which I cut out in black. Then I cut out my red stocking from Chatterbox flocked paper.

I also cut a flipped image of the stocking for the back side of the card. Then I added a piece of white cardstock so that I would have a place to write on it. The gift card slips in between the black and red.

Remember, it's never too early to get started on Christmas. Happy Crafting!
