Sweet Stamping Treats Christmas Card

Well, it's finally that time of year! Thanksgiving is over and Christmas is here. So I am all set with my Christmas Cards! Here is the one I created using Sweet Stamping Treats Reindeer Forest Stamp.
Most of what I used to make this card comes from a kit I got at Target on clearnace. the red dots on the frame of the stamp are those clear plastic dots. I colored in dots with a white pen and then added the red ones over the white so that they would show up better on the black frame. The Noel is stickers that came with the kit. I also colored over the stars on the stamp with my white gel pen. I think it came out very well.
Happy Crafting and Merry Christmas!

Inspired Stamps Sneak Peak!

Today's Inspired Stamps Sneak Peak is the new Winter Boy. He is so cute with his snow suit and a snowflake. I think he is great for making Christmas Cards.

A Holly Jolly Holday Card

It's Christmas Time! And I love Christmas Carols, so  the theme of this Christmas Card is Holly Jolly Christmas.

This one is sort of simple and elegant. I used Joys of the Season for the holly leaves, and Storybook for the tag on the bottom. The sentiment is from Recollections, and the tag has black brads from American crafts. The flocked paper is from 7 Gypsy's, and the striped paper is from DCWV. The pearl button is a brad that I picked up a few years ago in the Michael's clearance rack, and I have no idea who makes it.It is very heavy though, and I had to affix it with the hot glue gun. Guessing it will take extra postage to mail due to the weight.

I decided to enter this one into a few challenges (why not, I hardly ever enter challenges):

1. Little Scrap Pieces - Winter Holiday

2. 2 Sisters Challenge - Holiday

3. Crafty Sprouts - Tag it

2. Fantabulous Cricut Challenge - Holiday Cards

Wish me luck! Happy Crafting.

Sweet Stamping Treats New Dollar Digi Sale Stamp

It's time for a new Dollar Digi Sale Stamp over at Sweet Stamping Treats. This time it's an adorable Holiday Wreath Stamp. I think it's perfect for Christmas cards, so that's what I made with it.
Instead of cutting out the center of the wreath for my card, I used a stamp from the dollar bin at Michael's. It actually goes perfectly with this wreath. I used some snowflake garland from Martha Stewart, and flowers from Prima to finish off the card. The background paper is from My Little Shoebox. Head on over to SST and get your stamp today so you can get started on your Christmas projects.

November Give Away!

Okay, so yesterday I had a freak out moment in my craft room because I found a bunch of Halloween stuff I bought last year on clearance and didn't get to use. So I decided to clean my craft room and get rid of some stuff (gasp, I know!). So I did throw away a few things, and I found a bunch more that I don't intend to use and was going to give to the Goodwill. Some of it is old stuff I don't use anymore, some of it is stuff I never used. But then I though that maybe a few of you would want it so I decided to package it up and give it way here on my blog. This is the first box of stuff:

It includes a Knifty Knitter, some Christmas foam stamps, a set of small Stampin Up stamps, some paper scraps, ribbons, a bag of Prima flowers, gold stickers and a couple of small punches.

This is the second box:
This one includes some 12x12 paper, Prima Flowers, a small bottle of Glimmer mist, some wood mounted stamps, some foam mounted stamps, paper scraps, and some Martha Stewart inks.

I will choose one person to win each box on November 30th (that's two winners). To win you must be a follower and leave a comment here on this post. For a second chance to win share this give away on your blog or Facebook. For a third chance, like my Facebook page and leave a comment there (see the right sidebar for link).

Good luck and Happy Crafting.

Inspired Stamps Christmas Tag Blog Hop

Welcome to my blog and the Inspired Stamps Christmas Tag Blog Hop! If you came from the Inspired Stamps Blog you are in the right place. For this project I used the Let it Snow stamp set. This snowman just looks so sweet and cheery, I love him. It's hard to see in this photo but I used tiny rhinestones for the centers of the snowflakes, which are also stamps that come with this set. The great thing is that the snowflakes are 4 individual stamps so you can use them however you like.

I hope you liked my little gift tag. Your next stop is Belinda!

I have another card that I made with my Inspired Stamps! This time I used one of the His Little Ones Soldier and a scripture from the Choir Boy/Angel set. I think they go perfect together.

This one is a Christmas card, and I sure hope the person who gets it likes it a lot!

Happy Crafting.

What I am Thankful for Blog Hop

Hi, and welcome to the "What I Am Thankful For" Blog Hop. If you came from Rachelle's you are in the right place, if you just happened to come to this blog, you can start at the beginning with Lisa Peters

We're so excited to be doing this hop and we have a fabulous lineup with some very talented ladies. There will be lots of fun projects, along with some great blog candy, and a great grand prize for this hop.
he hop is a 2 day hop so you will have plenty of time to make it through the whole hop lineup twice. Check out each blog and see what blog candy you can win at the individual stops. Please come back both days to see great projects.

Here is my project:

Why is this a Halloween layout in November? Because these are the people I am thankful for. My wonderful hubby, and my friends Patty and Jasen. They are always there for me and are lots of fun to hang out with. We were having dinner at Buca Di Beppo before going into Universal's Halloween Horror Nights.

My project is made with Halloween paper from Pinecone Press. I like this line because it has a lot of elements you can just cut out and use, instead of having to die cut images. It's nice for a quick project. And the back sides of many of the papers have polka dot patterns that in colors that are great for fall layouts.
