Folded Christmas Card

Today's Inspired Stamps Card is a Fun Fold Christmas Card. For this card I used stamps from two different sets. I used the Angel from the Choir Boy/Angel set. I colored him in with my Copic markers, and gave him rosy cheeks.

For the inside of the card I used the Baby Jesus and sentiment from the Nativity Set.

Here is a close up so that you can see the shading.

As you can see I used an uneven gate fold for this card. Its about 2" on the right and 4" on the left. Then I added a strip of solid paper to the from and used and edge punch on it.

Inspired Stamps "Sing" Card

I made this card using a scripture from the Sing for Joy stamp set by Inspired Stamps. This is such a cute set, and so versatile.

The paper is from Echo Park, and the punch from Martha Stewart. I cut a few music notes with my Cricut and added a doubled flower to the sentiment.

Fall Decor Blog Hop

Welcome to the oh so fun Fall Decor Blog Hop. If you have arrived from Ashley's blog you are in the right place! If you want to start from the beginning go to:http://theglamoroussideofscrapping.blogspot.com.  And don't forget to come back tomorrow for the Sweet Stamping Treats October Release Blog Hop! This hop is all about decorating for fall. So I decided to decorate my mantle with some simple candles.

I bought these battery powered candles last year at the after Christmas sale. I have to have the battery operated ones because I'm afraid cats will catch fire otherwise! The look pretty good all lit up.

I use a simple band of brown paper, and then cut some fall images with my Cricut

This month I am giving away a crafting  prize package on October 31st. I already showed pictures of the ribbon and paper I am giving away in the pack.

Plus I'm adding this to the prize:

Thankful Card with Inspired Stamps

This week's assignment at Inspired Stamps was to make something with a Thankful Theme. So I used this scripture stamp from the Fall Gratitude set.

I'm having trouble getting into the fall colors because the weather here in California is still sunny and warm. So I used this blue white and black combo because I think it looks really elegant.

Sweet Stamping Treats Halloween Challenge

This week on Sweet Stamping Treats there is a Halloween themed or colored card challenge. I love Halloween, so I was all over this one. I used one of their newest stamps, Trick or Treat.

I cute the black frame from the Happy Hauntings Cartridge, and used my Martha Steward edge punch to add the cracks to the green cardstock. The sentiment I printed from my computer. I think it came out so cute.

Inspired Stamps Sparrow Card

Inspired Stamps has this adorable Eye on the Sparrow set, complete with Scripture quotes that I just love. I made this card using the Sparrows from this set.

I added the sentiment "Praying for You" from the Perfect Sentiment set. I think it's really sweet, or "tweet". I love the little sparrows and how they almost look a little sad. I was able to make this card from scraps of my Nanna's Nursery paper from DCWV. And the great thing is that this style is so versatile and helps me to get use up my scrap pile.

Word Card Making Day Blog Hop

Hi all! It's day 2of the World Card Making Day Blog Hop. This is a 5 day blog hop with 10 participants every day!. If you arrived from Linda's blog you are in the right place.

My card today is a shaped  just because greeting card.

The jar is from Doodlecharms. I used my Gypsy to weld it together to make a card shape. The stick is also from Doodlecharms, but the lighting bugs are from Stretch Your Imagination.

I used some twine around the top and attached my own little tag that says "You light up my life"

Comment on this post to be entered to win my October Blog Candy! I will announce the winner on October 31. I had a picture of the ribbon included in the blog candy on Saturday, and today I have a picture of the paper that will be included. I call it a card makers pack. It's from my massive collection of scraps.

Operation Write Home Blog Hop

I am so happy to be participating the OWH blog hop. I think it is such a noble cause and pray for our soldiers overseas every day.

For this hop I made a simple gate fold Christmas card from some paper I picked up at Target. I like the classic Christmas feel of this paper, but I've had it for a few years so I don't remember who it's from.

I like the gate fold because it's a little more formal. It looks really neat when you open it.

Inside I used the red zig-zag rub on to dress up the paper inside the card. I didn't add a greeting because I wanted to have room to write a message in it.

I hope you like my card. I'm also giving away a bunch of scrapbook supplies, including this ribbon at the end of the month.

To enter just leave me a comment on this post, and I will announce the winner on October 31. You must be a follower to win.
