Minnie Mouse

Here is another easy card for you! My friends love Minnie Mouse, and I had these two cute polka dot papers in my scrap pile so this was a no brainer. I used my  Martha Steward border punch  because I love it so much. It looks like lace! I used the Mickey and Friends Cricut cartridge to cut out Minnie.

This is for another Bitten by the Bug two challenge, Disney! I love Disney, and I have tons of friends who take their kids to Disneyland on the regular. So I made this layout. I like that it's simple and I can easily make it when I need to whip up an gift in a hurry.



I also saw this paper that made me think of Minnie so I made a little something extra. Maybe I will cut out a bow or Minnie to go on this one too. The cuts are from the Mickey and Friends cartridge. The punch is from Martha Stewart.

Train Birthday Layout

Next weekend I have to attend my a birthday party for my cousin's son Ethan. Ethan loves trains, and every year he has a train birthday party. So this year I though I would give him a train gift.



I made this using the 3 bugs in a rug "Dawson" collection. I really wish that Ethan liked dinosaurs because that is the them of the paper collection. But it's really cute boy paper. The font is from the Cricut Robotz Cartridge (who knew Robotz had a font, right?), and the train engine is from Mickey and Friends. The train car is from Christmas Solutions. I cut it out twice, using my gypsy to eliminate the cuts I didn't want on the blue layer, and then I cut the wheels off the orange layer. The "smoke" from the train is just clouds from Create a Critter.
I'm also entering this in the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #52 Happy Birthday, since it is a birthday layout. I hope you like it!
