Father's Day Card

More practice with those Copic Markers! Last night I made a Father's Day card for my hubby to give to his Dad. Father's Day is coming up so I though I would try to get a jump on it instead of waiting till the last minute as usual.

I followed the card from the TFG Challege Blog Mystery Monday with Kimlayu. I thought it would be nice to enter one of the Greeting Farm challenges since I have so many of their stamps.  For this card I used a coordinating paper line from Carolees Creations. I created my own sentiment in Word.

This stamp is Edward from The Greeting Farm. I stamped him on Neenah Solar White Paper with Momento Ink. I tried to do a little bit of shadow around his hair line to give the image some depth. I used the scalloped circle from Winter Woodlands, then I cut the inside circle 1/4" small than the scalloped circle just so show a bit more of the brown.

I decided that this time I would add a sentiment to the inside of the card. I sure hope his Dad likes it.These are the markers I used to color the image:

I also entered this card into the Sweet Stamps Challenge Masculine Card,  Polka Doodles Challenge Male Theme, Stamptacular Sunday Challenge Bugs or Boys, Lexi's Creations Father's Day or  Man Card, Freshely Brewed Challenge, It's a guy thing, and Simon Says Stamp Father's Day/Male Card.

Happy Crafting!
