A Haunted Mansion

We are so close to Halloween, one of my favorite holidays. I've always wanted my own little Haunted Mansion! Of course this one is not nearly as cool as the Disney kind, but Hey it will do. I have owned the Happy Hauntings Cricut Cartridge for a while now, and I just couldn't resist making this house with it.

It needs about 20 different cuts, and yes you need to look at the directions! This haunted house took me 2 hours to make, but I think it's well worth it. It made great decor for my office, but this one takes some dedication to put together.
This house is supper cute, but let me tell you I made a few mistakes along the way! It's not that easy to figure out. I recommend waiting until you assemble the house to put the chimney together, because I did it backwards the first time. But once I got it all assembled I though it needed a few touches, so I covered the roof with Purple Iced Stickles and added some green smoke to to the chimney.

A Spooktacular decoration if I do say so myself!

Happy Crafting!

  1. this is awesome, I wanted to attempt it, can npot wait now. What size did you cut yours at???

    1. I used my Gypsy to cut it out at 6.88, and managed to squeeze all the pieces onto 4 sheets of black cardstock.

  2. Hey girl. Haven't gotten around to commenting much lately. You rocked this one. Looks awesome.
