Inspired Stamps Christmas Card
I made this cute little Christmas card using the Inspired Stamps Me and My House Set. It's a cute little set that includes this scripture, which I though was perfect for Christmas.
I love using red and black for Christmas Cards because it looks so crisp. I cut the mats with my Cricut, each one 1/2" smaller than the last. I think it looks really cute!
Happy Crafting,

Dollar Digi Sale!
If you are looking for the Back to School Blog Hop Day 2 post please click here!
Hi all! There is a new Dollar Digi Sale Image on the Sweet Stamping Treats Blog. This stamp will be on sale for only $1 for the next 30 days.
Its perfect for fall, but I just couldn't use it that way. I started too, as you can see from this mostly colored image:
But then I realized my creation would look just like the others on the blog and I can't have that! So I changed it up a bit.
I cropped the photo to just have the flower from the image, and then I used it to create this fun summer time card using Echo Park's Sweet Summertime paper and a few of their stickers. I hope you like it.
Happy Crafting,
Amber

Back to School Blog hop Day 2
Welcome to day 2 of the Back to School Blog hop! If you have arrived here from Christina's blog you are in the right place!
Today I did my science notebook! I was actually fairly good at science in school. This cut came from Cursive 101. I also though about using this beaker for some Halloween cards! I think it came out nicely. The background paper reminds me of the old nuclear symbols, so I though it was appropriate. And of course I added a little ribbon to tie it shut with.
And now for the blog candy! What blog hop would be complete with out candy? Today I'm giving away these stamps!
Leave a comment on this post to be entered to win. You must be a follower!

And here is the entire line up in case you get lost

Back to School Blog Hop Day 1
Welcome to my blog and the back to school blog hop. If you arrived from Christina's blog you are in the right place.
I always loved to customize my books when I was a kid. I remember covering them with one of those brown bags from the grocery store and then going to town coloring on the cover. Now that I'm a grown up and I have my Cricut it's a lot less work!
I took this composition book that you can get at almost any store this time of year:
And spiced it up a little!
No one will mistake this for their math notes! I got the striped paper from a VERY old DCWV paper stack (we are talking 5 years here). and the trim piece is from a scrap of MME paper. The book stack and the word MATH are from the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge.
And yes I do have blog candy, which I will reveal to you tomorrow (so you have to come back). But your comments today will count as an entry to win. Remember you must be a follower!

Inspired Stamps Fall Thank You Card
Well, I told you before that Inspired Stamps had some great pumpkins on their new releases, and here they are! I just love them because they are simple and you can use them in so many ways.
I did a lot of layering on this card to give it dimension, which you can see from the side view:
I pop-dotted the base under the pumpkins, then I cut out and colored the middle pumpkin and added that as an extra layer. I really like the way it looks. I hope you will check them out. These stamps are from the Fall Gratitude set that you can find in the Inspired Stamps store.

Guest Designer for Canadian Nickel Scrap'n
Hi! My name is Amber and my blog is Pixichick Papercrafts. Who am I? I'm a crazy crafter who has taken over an entire room in my house with crafting! At least my hubby doesn't mind because he knows were to find me. I love to make cards, decorations, and scrapbook pages for myself and all of my friends. Besides crafting I am a do-it-yourself home improvement nut. I'm currently working on re-texturing all of the ceilings in my house.
What am I up to? Well, I'm the design team coordinator for Sweet Stamping Treats, and I'm on the design team for Inspired Stamps, but stamping isn't even my real passion. I love my Cricut! Thanks to tons of sales and thrifty shopping I've accumulated over 60 cartridges. The hard part is staying within my budget.
What's new and exciting with me? Well, Sweet Stamping Treats will have a new design team starting in October, and I'm in a ton of blog hops coming up, including a back to school blog hop on the 23rd, and a Great Pumpkin Blog hop on October 31.
But for my project today I decided to go back to basics. I love making simple, versatile cards that can be used for any occasion. This is my fashonista card:
This card is perfect to give to any fashioista friend for a birthday, thank you, congratulations, or even a bridal shower.
I used paper from Chatter Box's Artsy.licious line because it has all kinds of sparkle from glitter to foil. The dress is from the Tie the Knot cartridge, and it's actually one of the accessory cuts for this dress, not the main image. The white base is a stamp image from the Base Camp cartridge, and the dress images are cut out inside of it. Then I mounted the different colors of paper to the back of the stamp so that these are showing through, not glued on top.
I hope you like my project, and Happy Crafting!

Tipsy Tuesday - Masking
Click here if you are looking for the Inspired Stamps Sneak Peek
Today's Tipsy Tuesday post from Sweet Stamping Treats is about masking. Masking is a way to add a background to paper without coloring in the stamp. Normally you wold stamp the image on a piece of post-it or some other kind of sticky paper, but you can't do that with digi stamps. But you can still mask your project, which is what I did on my picture frame using the Violet Fairy stamp from the last blog hop.
I take a nice thin, light colored sticky-note and put it over the stamps so that I can trace out the shape of the stamp I want to mask.
This image is a little larger than my sticky-note so I just took the sticky corners and used them to help me cover the entire image.
For this simple background I used a blue cats-eye chalk, and stamped it around the image until I liked the amount of color on it.
It looks like this.
Happy Crafting!

I've seen the new releases from Inspired Stamps! And they are cute. I just know you are going to love them. I made this card using the Thankful Boy stamp and a sentiment from the new Fall Gratitude set. Fall Gratitude has some cute pumpkins too that I can wait to use! I wanted this one to be more masculine, since I am always doing more feminine cards. I hope you like it.
The new stamps will be released on Friday, so be sure to check them out at the inspired stamp store.

My project today is not a card! Are you shocked? I though this stamp was so whimsical it would make a perfect picture:
This is the Violet Fairy stamp. I thought it would be a great decoration for a little girl's room. I colored in the stamp with my Copic Markers and then added Stickles in the flowers and on the fairy wings. You could put this one a frame. I used my Cricut to cut out this frame from Basic Grey paper and added a few rhinestones too it.
I hope you like my little project, and Happy Crafting!

My project today is a paper flower arrangement. I thought these flowers were fun to make. I chose pink and purple because those are Susan's favorite colors.
I stuck them in this cute gift bag because it was pink and purple with flowers and I think it goes perfectly with the flowers. Here is a close up of flower #1
I used these super cute metal brads as the centers of most of the flowers. And one thing I learned is to handle them quickly as I hot glued them on and they get HOT! And this is flower # 2:
