Back to School Blog Hop Day 1

Welcome to my blog and the back to school blog hop. If you arrived from Christina's blog you are in the right place.

I always loved to customize my books when I was a kid. I remember covering them with one of those brown bags from the grocery store and then going to town coloring on the cover. Now that I'm a grown up and I have my Cricut it's a lot less work!

I took this composition book that you can get at almost any store this time of year:
And spiced it up a little!
No one will mistake this for their math notes! I got the striped paper from a VERY old DCWV paper stack (we are talking 5 years here). and the trim piece is from a scrap of MME paper. The book stack and the word MATH are from the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge.

    LOL! I remember using those brown paper packages to cover my books also! Actually, the truth was that we were too poor to buy "real" bookcovers, so my Mom made us use paper bags. Your notebook turned out so cute! That's one of my fave cartridges, too!

    I love altering notebooks too! I used to do the same thing with the brown paper bag in school. So much fun! Now they look so much classier! LOL ;) TFS and for the chance to win!
