Scrapbooking my husband getting wet!

In 2002 my husband (when he was still just my boyfriend) and I took a trip to Walt Disney World with his family. We had a great time and while visiting the then MGM Studios Jimmy and his sister got a chance to be in one of the shows. His parents and I secretly asked the cast member to make sure Jimmy got wet. We were trying to get him back for going on a water ride 4 times and not getting a drop of water on himself. The rest of us were soaked from head to toe (hence the going on the ride 4 times trying to get Jimmy wet). These are the pic's of what happened next!

Before you call me mean, let me just tell you that his mother was videotaping the whole thing while sitting right next to me. You can hear her laughing so hard she almost passed out!

The background paper is from the DCWV Citrus paper stack. The yellow and orange patterned papers in the sub and the title are from American Crafts. The font is from the Mickey Font Cricut cart and the submarine itself is from Life's a beach. I put in the sub because in the show Jimmy was supposed to be manning a submarine.

This wall of waves is from Life's a Beach also. I cut in on 3 shades of cardstock and glued them in a way that looked like the wave was rolling in. I even used the other half of the cut (the left over side) for the bottom two layers. It just happened to look good.

I used stickles on the edges of the waves and for the word "splash" I ran it through the xyron front side down and then added glitter. I find that works better than glue because it doesn't warp my paper.
