Wow, this is a last minute thing! I just found out tonight that Pumpkin Spice was looking for a design team and I could not resist entering! They are a company after my own heart! "Memories are Priceless, budgets are not." (Now you are talking my language) This is a total bargain site with a great selection of paper and other crafty products. You should check them out!
Their challenge is to use paper from two different paper lines on their list:
Bo Bunny
Cosmo Cricket
Crate Paper
Echo Park
Graphic 45
My Mind’s Eye
So I ran through my paper stash and was left staring at a pile of paper on my craft room floor trying to put two together. Bo Bunny and Crate Paper? MME and Echo Park? The choices were endless!!!!!! Then I saw it. Graphic 45's Playtimes Past Collection and Echo Park's For the Record. PERFECT!
I have to say this is really not my style of crafting but I was so inspired. This is what I came up with:
I started with a base of 61/2" by 5 of Echo Parks Borders paper, and then cut a 3" strip of Graphic 45's Life's a Ball. I punched both sides of the 3" strip with a Fiskars border punch. Then I added a 1 1/2" strip of Echo Park's Fabric Store paper.
I used Graphic 45's Child's Play, which is a whole sheet of old fashioned adds for toys. I cut two adds out of that sheet, then I added a mocha colored satin ribbon and glued the two adds to it.
Then I added a couple of Prima Flowers from their Belle Fleur set for a little color. They come with the brads already in the center which is so nice because I don't have to hunt for matching ones.
Echo Park is probably my favorite paper company right now, I love their new Dots and Stripes. Bo Bunny is running a close second. Anyway, wish me luck!
Happy Crafting!
